All proceeds generated by the NEACA shows are used to provide donations to Huntsville charities and 2 or 4 year scholarships for local students. Since 1973, NEACA has donated over $850,000 to Huntsville area charities in addition to providing scholarships. Free admission - Over 150 Craftsmen.

Friday evening will feature an Artists/Patron reception, "An Evenin' of Good Eaton," featuring The Cleve Eaton Trio and food provided by the East Lake Arts District. Saturday will feature a free art show on the grounds of the Ruffner Mountain Nature Preserve in the first outdoor show of the season in the Birmingham metro area. Come browse through artists from around Alabama and the southeast.

This 2-day event will have prestigious juried arts & crafts show featuring the works of about 50 talented artists and crafts people who specialize in oil paintings, pastels, watercolors, photography, sculptures, wood art, rustic furniture, pottery, iron work, basketry, fiber and wearable art, and jewelry. The juried show will be held under the trees in Mason Park where visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll as they shop for one-of-a-kind art.

This annual art and musical event displays citizens of Fort Payne taking a second look at their past and the heritage passed down to them through the arts and crafts of our area. Many events will take place the week prior to the celebration on Saturday. The Boom Days Heritage Celebration will feature many of these facets in the presentation of musical performances as well as art displays in City Park.
